The Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun Medical Students’ Association (FUHSIMSA) has once again demonstrated its growing reputation for academic excellence and eloquence. The association’s representatives clinched 2nd place at the 2025 South West MSAs Regional Debate Finals, held during the Regional Convention.
The competition, which commenced with online preliminaries involving 16 medical schools across the South West region, showcased intellectual depth and persuasive brilliance among medical students.
FUHSIMSA, represented by Adewumi OreOluwa and Ariyo Ayomide, advanced impressively through the preliminaries and semi-finals to secure a well-deserved spot in the grand finale, hosted at LASUCOM, Ikeja. At the finals, Adewumi OreOluwa and Ajibade Mariam eloquently represented the institution, earning FUHSIMSA the 2nd position overall.
This achievement reinforces FUHSIMSA’s commitment to excellence and the university’s dedication to nurturing well-rounded, articulate, and intellectually vibrant students.
