Admission Entry Requirements

Please read the guidelines below carefully to verify your academic eligibility before applying

1. UTME (100 Level) Entry Requirements

First Choice Choice: Candidates must have chosen FUHSI as their first-choice institution in JAMB. If not, a Change of Institution must be completed on JAMB CAPS.
UTME Subject Combination: English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Minimum UTME Cut-Off Marks:
- Medicine and Surgery (M.B.B.S) — 220+
- Nursing Science (B.NSc) — 200+
- All Other Programmes — 180+
O'Level Requirement: Five (5) O'Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
One-Sitting Rule: For M.B.B.S, Nursing Science, MLS, and Physiotherapy (DPT), the 5 credits must be obtained in not more than one sitting. Other programmes allow a maximum of two (2) sittings.

2. Direct Entry (200 Level) Requirements

First Choice Choice: Must have chosen FUHSI as their first-choice institution in JAMB.
O'Level Standard: Same 5 O'Level credits (English, Math, Physics, Chem, Bio). The one-sitting rule also applies to MBBS, Nursing Science, MLS, and Physiotherapy.
Academic Criteria for MBBS & Nursing Science:
- Must possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Division degree in a relevant biological science course from a recognized university; OR
- High grading points in A'Levels (JUPEB/IJMB) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Registered Nurse (RN) / Registered Midwife (RM) certificates are also accepted for Nursing Science.
Criteria for Other Courses: Passes in A'Levels (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or a minimum of National Diploma (ND) with Upper Credit in related science disciplines.

How to Apply (Post-UTME Screening)

Follow these 5 steps to complete your screening registration online

Check Eligibility

Confirm that you have selected FUHSI as your first choice institution in JAMB, met the general cut-off mark, and possess the correct O-Level combinations.

Account Registration

Go to the Admissions Application Portal (portal.fuhsi.edu.ng), click on "Post-UTME Registration", and enter your UTME Registration Number to pull your data.

Generate Invoice & Pay

Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) invoice for the screening fee. Make your payment online using a debit card or pay at any commercial bank branch.

Upload Results & Biodata

After payment validation, log in to complete your personal biodata profile, specify your faculties and choices, and input your O-Level subjects and grades.

Print Screening Slip

Verify all details are correct, submit your application, and print out your Post-UTME screening registration slip. Keep it safe for physical verification on campus.
