This is to notify all candidates offered provisional admission into the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun (FUHSI) for the 2026/2027 Academic Session that the official deadline for admission acceptance and registration on the University Portal is tomorrow, Friday, 11th September, 2026.

📲 How to Check Your Screening Result

1. Visit the Admissions Portal: https://portal.fuhsi.edu.ng/apply
2. Under "Returning Applicants, Sign In", enter your UTME Registration Number and password. (Candidates who have forgotten their password should use the "Forgot password?" link on the login page).
3. Click SIGN IN, navigate to My Admission, and select Check Screening Result.
4. Where the result is displayed, click Print Result Slip to download and print a hard copy.
5. Candidates are also advised to print the Application Form under My Application → Forms & Printouts. This form must be presented during physical screening if provisional admission is subsequently offered.

⚠️ Important Information for Candidates

• Not an Offer of Admission: The release of a screening result is strictly for result notification. It confirms only that the candidate's screening score has been computed and processed.
• Cut-Off Marks & Admission Lists: Departmental cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 Admissions Exercise have now been approved and released. Click here to view the approved Departmental Cut-Off Marks table.
• Portal Status Indicator: Until official admission offers are published, the portal will display "you have not been offered provisional admission yet" under Check Admission Status. This is standard system behavior and not an adverse decision on any application.
• Fraud Warning: The University does not collect payment through individuals, agents, or private accounts. All statutory payments are processed strictly through the University portal. Any individual demanding money in exchange for admission is acting fraudulently and should be reported immediately.

Candidates are strongly enjoined to disregard any information concerning the 2026/2027 admission exercise that does not originate from the official University website or admission portal, and to quote their UTME Registration Number in all official correspondence.

FUHSI 2026/2027 Admission Screening Formula Explained

The Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun (FUHSI) uses a combined aggregate score from both the UTME (JAMB) and the candidate's O’Level (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) results to determine each candidate’s final Post-UTME Screening Aggregate (100%).

Screening Components & Weight Distribution

• Component 1
  UTME (JAMB) Score — 70% Weight
• Component 2
  O’Level (WAEC/NECO) Result — 30% Weight

Step 1: O’Level Grading & Point System

Each of the five (5) required core subjects (English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) is evaluated using the official point scale below:

Note: Maximum achievable O’Level points across the 5 core subjects = 40 Points (8 points × 5 subjects).

• Only candidates who scored a minimum of 50.0% and uploaded verified O’Level results on the JAMB portal are eligible for admission consideration.
• The screening aggregate score determines a candidate's position in the merit, catchment, and ELDS rankings across all academic programmes.
